CHALLENGE

Develop and maintain the software for their mobile application (iOS) and website with the aim of establishing an efficient labor connection process between civil works providers and end customers. We aim to facilitate access to the hiring of these services for individuals located in the United States.

They needed to ensure that the interface is perceptible, operable, understandable, and robust, allowing all individuals to access and use the information and functionalities effectively.

SOLUTION

We evaluate the efficiency, design, and user experience of the tool through established usability heuristic evaluations, identifying improvement opportunities.
We apply Accessibility Guidelines Evaluation under the WCAG 2.1 standard at level AA to verify compliance with accessibility criteria. Subsequently, we deliver a comprehensive report that includes findings, identified issues, and their severity levels.
We conduct User Testing to observe interactions when performing specific tasks within the platform, identifying usability problems and areas for improvement during these processes.

We ensured that the platform complied with accessibility standards, ensuring an inclusive experience for all users, regardless of their abilities or disabilities.
User testing validated the effectiveness of the implemented improvements and identified additional areas for optimization.
We provided specific recommendations to address usability and accessibility issues, aiming to enhance the overall user experience.
The recommendations report presented a clear action plan by categorizing issues based on severity, allowing for prioritization of necessary corrections and guiding adjustments based on design recommendations for continuous improvement in the user experience.
