SOLUtioN

A design system was standardized to ensure consistency in the final product of the project and as a guide for future digital projects.
A specific graphic language was created for these products, which was consistent and solid within the bank’s environment.
Two interfaces were designed, one for users who require a savings account and another for those users who wish to obtain a credit card.
During the project, the flow was tested at different stages where significant inputs were found, which were studied and adapted to the users’ needs.
Constant support was provided to the client for team decision-making throughout the project.

IMPACT

The design system enabled and will continue to significantly shorten the ideation, development, and product elaboration times, scaling the interfaces in a structured and controlled manner.
The Banco de Costa Rica is the first bank in the country to implement digital products in its portfolio, innovating the banking sector experience.
The digital products were supported by Mastercard as a sustainable-focused product due to digitalization.
